Thanks buat yang udah ngeramein twitter party kemarin dan hari ini. It was fun!!

Twitter fanaction the day before the Luxembourg concert successfully landed #HumanoidCityTourTH at number 1 Top Trending Topics at Twitter. It got into TT list around 1.5 hours before the scheduled action (10 pm Indonesia time). It got into 1st place around 11 minutes after the scheduled time. Total time, excluding a few minutes when the hashtag was missing from the list, is 11 hours on Trending Topics.

The fanaction on the day the concert started was not as successful, because fans were understandably busy with the concert's live updates. Peak position was at 4th place. It went to 6th place at the time when it's reported that the boys at last showed up on stage! I hadn't caught the screen capture of this one :/

Sukses dan populer bukan jaminan enggak bakal kena musibah, tapi wheel of fortune memang enggak pernah pandang bulu

Selama delapan tahun ngeband bareng, Bill Kaulitz (vokal), Tom Kaulitz (gitar), Georg Listing (bass) dan Gustav Schäfer (drum) sudah mengalami banyak hal. Ada yang menyenangkan , tapi ada juga yang, uh, bikin kesal!

Tapi band yang baru merilis album Humanoid ini tetap kompak sampai sekarang. Soalnya dalam hidup mereka, cuma ada satu motto: Tokio Hotel über alles!

THE UPSIDES

Memecahkan Rekor

Tokio Hotel jadi band Jerman pertama yang mendapat dua nominasi di MTV Europe Music Awards . Dari ajang itu di tahun 2007, mereka dinobatkan sebagai Best International Act . Lalu tahun berikutnya, Tokio Hotel lagi-lagi memecahkan rekor sebagai band Jerman pertama yang memperoleh penghargaan dari MTV Video Music Awards dan MTV Latin America Awards .

Bill, Tom, Georg dan Gustav bukan cuma bikin sejarah lewat penghargaan yang mereka terima. Saking bekennya mereka, Presiden Prancis Nicolas Sarkozy mengundang Tokio Hotel untuk main di kaki Menara Eiffel tahun 2007 di depan 600 ribu orang. Di tahun itu juga, kedutaan Israel di Jerman meminta mereka main di Tel Aviv, dan tiket konsernya sold out! How cool was that?

Patung Madam Tussaud

Banyak seleb yang sudah dibuatkan patung lilinnya di Museum Madame Tussaud. Bill termasuk salah satunya *mimisan*. Proses pembuatan patung Bill memakan waktu enam bulan. Serius banget, lho, ngerjainnya. Setiap detil dari tubuh Bill benar-benar dicatat dan didiskusikan para pembuat patung dengan Bill sendiri. Bahkan Bill juga meminjamkan baju dan aksesori pribadinya buat patung itu. Yang hebat, Bill adalah tokoh Jerman termuda yang dijadikan patung di Museum Madame Tussaud di Berlin. *WOW!

Bikin Bahasa Jerman Makin Populer

Sejak Tokio Hotel dikenal di seluruh dunia, Goethe Institute (pusat kebudayaan Jerman) di berbagai negara kebanjiran peminat belajar bahasa Jerman. Khususnya di Goethe Institute cabang Paris, Prancis. Menurut Goethe Institute, orang-orang itu pengin belajar bahasa Jerman karena ngefans sama Tokio Hotel! Wuih..

Band asal Magdeburg ini memang secara nggak langsung mengangkat nama Jerman. Pernah satu kali Goethe Institute di San Fransisco bikin acara bagi-bagi tiket konser Tokio Hotel. Dalam sehari mereka bisa menerima ratusan email dan telepon yang menanyakan tiket itu. Orang Goethe Institute sendiri sampai kaget. "Kita pikir Tokio Hotel nggak dikenal di Amerika." Waaa, gubrak!

Menyewa Taman Hiburan

Dengan kesuksesan mereka, tabungan cowok-cowok Tokio Hotel juga enggak sedikit pastinya. Tom dan Bill saja bisa menyewa satu taman hiburan sendiri untuk merayakan ulang tahun ke-20 mereka tanggal 1 September kemarin. Tom dan Bill mengundang 20 teman dan keluarga mereka ke satu taman hiburan bernama Heide Park Soltau di Jerman untuk bersenang-senang.

"Dari kecil kita sudah bermimpi untuk menikmati taman hiburan tanpa ada orang lain. Enggak usah antre, enggak usah nunggu lama-lama, dan bisa naik rollercoaster berkali-kali. Benar-benar menakjubkan!" kata Bill.

THE DOWN SIDES

Drop Out dari Sekolah

Gara-gara album Scream meledak, Tom dan Bill terpaksa drop out dari sekolah. Sebab mereka lebih banyak menghabiskan waktu untuk tur dan kegiatan promosi. Tapi sebenarnya Tom dan Bill juga nggak terlalu suka sekolah. Tom paling enggak suka matematika dan fisika sedangkan Bill membenci semua yang berkaitan dengan sekolah. Ouch!

"Sekolah itu masa-masa paling enggak menyenangkan selama hidup kita," kata Bill.

"Hukuman paling buruk di sekolah adalah waktu kita dipisahkan satu sama lain. Soalnya guru-guru enggak bisa mengatur kita berdua kalau lagi bareng," sambung Tom. *haha LOL

Bill Palsu

Bukan cuma fans Tokio Hotel yang bertambah. Antifans atau orang yang enggak suka sama mereka juga makin banyak. Ada yang sampai melakukan hal jahat untuk membuat nama Tokio Hotel jelek.

Di Prancis pernah ada cowok yang ngaku-ngaku sebagai Bill di chat room dan meminta cewek-cewek mengirimkan foto-foto bugil mereka padanya. Lalu cowok itu mengunggah foto-foto tersebut di internet! Untung saja akhirnya cowok itu ditangkap polisi. Karena itu pula Tokio Hotel enggak pernah bikin account di situs pertemanan dan hanya punya satu situs resmi di internet yaitu tokiohotel.com. Hati-hati sama Bill-Bill palsu lainnya, ya, girls!

Diteror Fans Fanatik

Bukan cuma antifans yang mengganggu Tokio Hotel. Fans fanatik mereka juga pernah melakukan hal menyeramkan . Empat cewek Prancis yang menamakan diri Les Afghanes on Tour (The Afghans on Tour) meneror Tom dan Bill karena merasa enggak mendapat respon yang cukup dari dua cowok ini.

Cewek-cewek itu melempari mobil Tom dan Bill dengan telur, menulis surat ancaman dan bahkan mengganggu keluarga mereka *eeRRRrr Akhirnya Tokio Hotel pun melapor pada polisi dan kini Tom serta Bill bisa jalan-jalan dengan aman lagi. Fffiuh..

*Gila banget!

Dituduh Lipsync

Tuduhan itu datang dari blogger gosip Perez Hilton. Dia menulis dalam blognya kalau Bill cuma lipsync dan personil yang lain juga cuma pura-pura bermain musik selama tur mereka di Amrik.

Gosip ini langsung dibantah oleh manajer Tokio Hotel. "Siapapun yang pernah datang ke konser mereka pasti tahu sendiri, kok. Tapi gosip ini justru menguntungkan kami. Soalnya orang yang penasaran malah pengin datang ke konser Tokio Hotel, kan?" He he he, jadi 1-0 buat Tokio Hotel!

Having been in the same band for eight years together, Bill Kaulitz (vocals), Tom Kaulitz (guitar), Georg Listing (bass) and Gustav Schäfer (drums) have been through a lot. There is fun , but there is also, uh, maddening stuff! But this band with the newly released album, Humanoid, remained solid until now. It's because in their lives, there's only one motto: Tokio Hotelüber alles!

THE UPSIDES

Breaking Records

Tokio Hotel has became the first German band who received two nominations at the MTV Europe Music Awards . At the awards show, year 2007, they won the Best International Act . Then the next year, Tokio Hotel was again breaking records as the first German band receiving awards from the MTV Video Music Awards and MTV Latin America Awards .

Bill, Tom, Georg and Gustav are not making history only through winning the awards. Because of their popularity, French President Nicolas Sarkozy invited Tokio Hotel to play at the foot of the Eiffel Tower in 2007 in front of 600 thousand people. At that year, the Israeli embassy in Germany asked them to play in Tel Aviv, and concert tickets were sold out! How cool was that?

Madame Tussaud Statue

There are many celebrities who have been made wax statue at Madame Tussaud Museum. Bill is one of them *bleeding*. The sculpture making process took six months. They worked on it very seriously. Every details of Bill's body was noted and discussed among the statue makers and Bill himself. Bill even lent his personal clothes and accessories for the statue. What's great about it is that Bill is the youngest German who had been made a statue at Madame Tussaud Museum in Berlin. *WOW!

Making German Language Popular

Since Tokio Hotel was known throughout the world, Goethe Institute (German cultural center) in various countries are flooded with German language learner enthusiasts. Especially in the Goethe Institute branches Paris, France. According to the Goethe Institute, these people want to learn German because they are idolizing Tokio Hotel! Whoah ..

This band from Magdeburg has indeed, not so directly, raised the German name. On one occasion, Goethe Institute in San Francisco organized a Tokio Hotel concert ticket give-away. In one day they received hundreds of emails and phone calls asking for tickets. Goethe Institute's staff were surprised. "We thought Tokio Hotel were unknown in America." Oooo, *face-palm*

Renting a Theme-Park

With their success, the Tokio Hotel boys' savings are not little of course. Tom and Bill hired an amusement park to celebrate their 20th birthday, last September 1st. Tom and Bill invited 20 friends and their families to a theme park called Heide Park Soltau in Germany to have fun.

"Since little we've been dreaming to enjoy the amusement park without anyone else. No line up, no long waiting, and roller coaster riding as many times as we want. It's just amazing!" said Bill.

THE DOWN SIDE

Drop Out of School

Because of Scream album exploded, Tom and Bill was forced to drop out of school because they spend so much time for touring and promotional activities. But anyway, Tom and Bill don't really like school. Tom dislikes math and physics the most while Bill hates everything associated with school. Ouch!

"School days were the most non-exciting period of our lives," said Bill.

"The worst punishment in school is when we were separated from each other. Because teachers couldn't managed both of us if together," continued Tom. *haha LOL

Fake Bill

It's not just Tokio Hotel fans that are increased. Anti-fans or people who dislike them are also getting more and more. They are up to do bad things to make Tokio Hotel's reputation marred.

In France there was a guy who claimed himself as Bill in a chat room and asked girls to send him naked pictures of them. Then the guy uploaded the photos on the internet! Luckily the guy had finally been caught by the police. Because of this, Tokio Hotel never makes accounts on any networking websites and has only one official site on the internet that is tokiohotel.com. Please be careful of other fake Bills, girls!

Terrorized Fanatic Fans

It's not only Tokio Hotel anti-fans that bring disturbance to them. Horrible things had also been done by their fanatical fans . Four French girls calling themselves Les Afghanes on Tour (The Afghans on Tour) had terrorized Tom and Bill because they didn't get enough response from these two guys.

The girls pelted Tom and Bill's car with eggs, wrote threatening letters and even disrupted their families! *eeRRRrr Finally, Tokio Hotel reported them to the police and now Tom and Bill could walk safely again. Phew ..

*How freak they are!?

Lip-sync Accusation

The accusation comes from a gossip blogger Perez Hilton. He wrote in his blog that Bill was just lip-syncing and other band members were also just pretending to play music during their tour in America.

This gossip was quickly denied by the Tokio Hotel manager. "Anyone who has been once to a Tokio Hotel concert knows that themselves, really. But this rumor actually benefits us. Because curious people would want to come to Tokio Hotel's concert right?" He he he, so 1-0 for Tokio Hotel!
